As a licensed Marriage and Family therapist since 1986, I have been in private practice for over 20 years. I started out my career working with preschool aged children and their families. I have done internships with domestic violence, addiction and codependency populations.
Practicing in San Ramon, California I work with a variety of clients including children, families and adults. I am involved in the Collaborative Divorce Process as a coach and child specialist with training in mediation and negotiation. My special interests include working with individuals to change long term behavior patterns brought on by co-dependency and childhood trauma, helping children and families adjust to divorce, and families with young children struggling with the adjustment to parenting and changes in their relationship.
Married with two adult children I understand the difficulties facing families. I am interested in helping individuals understand the nature of conflict and move past their blocks to creating positive relationships for themselves and the people around them.
